Go Climbing

As part of River Lin’s practice-based movement research in between choreography and performance, the work Go Climbing conceives a situation where the audience encounters a flowing material, performed by a artist, which is climbing, moving crawling, creeping and travelling around slowly and constantly.

This performance questions ways of sensing, measuring and experiencing a space and its physical and mental structure and context through the artists’s body. Climbing, is an interventional movement set for exhibition spaces. It sees and treats the body as the medium in between the solid and fluid, conceptually transforming the artist’s body to the exhibit itself.
